The Zoo Comes To You

Through the Detroit Main Library, summer reading program, my kids and I were introduced to the Exotic Zoo. It was a fun and educational way to get children excited about zoo animals, up close and personal. We were allowed to touch many of them, as well. Free Swimming Lessons for DPS Students

The Boll Family YMCA has begun a free Urban Swim Initiative program for local detroit public school students. The school's principal should contact, Nikole Saffle, the aquatics director at 313-309-9622 to enroll in this program.
